The role...IT Support Lead...

The IT Support Lead role here at graze is crucial in order to keep the organisation running smoothly, whether it is a PC issue in an office or a new network that needs installing in one of our factories, this role leads the team that make this happen.

What you’ll be responsible for...  

  • Ensure that all support tickets are resolved in a timely manner and to a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Effective support of all Hardware (PCs, Macs, routers, switches, servers etc)  in our offices and warehouses
  • Management, licensing control and support of all business software (G-Suite, O365, etc)
  • Monitor, implement and maintain our Cisco networks
  • Owning the relationships with 3rd party providers (Telecoms, software, services)

What we are looking for in you...  

  • A great, proactive and positive team leader who really cares about their team and can help ensure that it is working in the best way possible.
  • An understanding of security standards to ensure we keep graze’s systems as secure as possible
  • Ability to work in a fast moving, technically orientated businesses, both within the office and warehouses / manufacturing plants
  • CCNA – Routing & Switching, with proven experience
  • Good Microsoft and Apple experience
  • The ability to define a solution and work with other teams to get this implemented
  • Good understanding of VPNs
  • Have experience or basic understanding of AWS  

What we will expect in first 6 months...  

  • Ensure that you have a built a good relationship with your team and ensure that the IT team runs smoothly
  • Deal with all warehouse and offices issues in the UK and US in a timely manner
  • Procure and manage all licenses within the organisation
  • Demonstrate good Cisco, Microsoft and Apple experience with the ability to lead and mentor other members of your direct team and within the organisation.
  • Come back with recommendations on how we can improve our services to the organisation whilst understand what opportunities we have to reduce costs
