The role....

The CRM Executive is a global role responsible for executing highly effective multi-channel marketing campaigns to our UK & USA customer databases.

The role of CRM marketing is increasing and we’re looking for someone excited to join the team with big responsibilities and even bigger ambitions to unlock our next stage of growth at graze.  

What you’ll be responsible for...

  • Executing multi-channel marketing campaigns (mainly email, but also in-box communications), to a high standard including automated lifecycle, triggered, transactional and one-off promotional campaigns.
  • Tracking, reporting and evaluating campaign performance, suggesting necessary changes and optimisation opportunities.
  • The CRM executive owns the day to day activities that underpin a successful campaign: coming up with campaign ideas, writing briefs; checking copy; briefing and checking data; coordinating teams to ensure campaigns are sent to the agreed deadlines

Your day to day tasks...

  • Executing email marketing campaigns from start to finish (requires HTML knowledge)
  • Writing creative briefs (& some copy!) for the Comms team and liaising closely with them to deliver campaigns of a high creative quality
  • Working with a range of cross functional partners including the data team, web development team, creative team, and others as required
  • Manage monthly promotional calendar and keep all parties updated on upcoming campaigns
  • Analyse campaign results and identify areas of strength and areas of weakness to develop strategies and implement optimisation tactics with CRM Manager.

What we’re looking for in you...

  • Bachelor’s degree (ideally with a quantitative focus) ideally!
  • Likely you’ll have worked agency side or an in-house marketing role (B2C company)
  • Extensive knowledge of email best practices including ISP optimisation, A/B testing, delivery and deliverability issues, customer segmentation, and analytics/performance management
  • You’ll have hands on technical knowledge working with ESPs and CRM platforms, e.g. Exact Target
  • Good understanding of HTML and CSS
  • Highly numerate – proficiency in Excel is imperative

  • Quick learner, keen to pick up and master new systems and tools
  • Outstanding planning and organisation skills, ability to effectively manage time to meet deadlines
  • Strong copywriting skills and a creative eye
  • Excellent communicator both written and verbal
  • Be passionate, enthusiastic and jump in with a hands-on, solutions-driven attitude

What we'll expect in the first 6 months...

  • Work with Marketing team to develop a yearly Promotional calendar (seasonal campaigns, new product launches)
  • Launch series of new emails targeting our new Graze eCommerce site customers (one-off & triggered email journeys)
  • Redevelop our existing automated emails to maximise revenue and response rates
  • Create a great email experience for customers on mobile and desktop
  • Work with other teams to help develop a great physical graze box experience (the boxes we send to our customers)
