The team...

The commercial team are responsible for all graze performance marketing, digital product, data, merchandising and own the online P&L. Driving growth from new and existing customers, driving business to our online eCommerce and subscription services and increasingly into offline retailer stores too.

Within commercial, your performance marketing team are highly motivated, energetic, curious & pioneering. From a wide range of backgrounds – strategy, agency-side and FMCG/CPG.  Based in London – the team members use their entrepreneurial spirit to acquire customers through sophisticated and evolving multi-channel marketing – Facebook/Instagram/…, Search Engine Marketing, Affiliates, Partnerships, Print, Outdoor, TV, etc… as well as drive retention and sales through our email CRM platform and direct to consumer relationship.

The Role...Performance Marketing Director...

You will play a pivotal role for graze globally, leading the performance marketing team (acquisition, CRM and other trading levers) and reporting directly to the Chief Digital Officer.

You will effectively own the weekly, monthly online P&L and be responsible for driving our results. You will be in charge of strategy, forecasting, execution and analysis. You will be in charge of our sizeable online marketing budget and will need to work out how to make it as effective as possible. On top of this you will be tasked with using our database to help grow our retail business to push our multi-channel advantage.

You will need to work with various other teams around the business in order to deliver successfully including brand, finance, data and supply chain.

We are looking for someone who is analytical, innovative, hardworking and passionate who wants to excel in a small fast paced healthy snacking tech company.

What you’ll be responsible for as the Performance Marketing Director....

  • Own the trading metrics for the graze online business (revenue, marketing spend)
  • Own all of online marketing budget to drive online sign ups, ecommerce purchases and support sales in retail
  • Own and execute our CRM strategy to drive retention, eComm purchases and reactivations
  • Be a top class leader, creating and managing a high performing team based in our Richmond and Manhattan offices, driving performance globally
  • Working with Chief Digital Office to build out online business strategy and budget
  • Working with the finance team to create the online forecast and report on the numbers weekly, monthly and quarterly

What we’re looking for in you...

  • Likely you'll be highly experienced in commercial roles with strong analytical skill set
  • Someone who loves numbers and gets a kick out of hitting targets
  • Experience managing and delivering against weekly, monthly targets
  • Someone with proven experience of leading a team
  • You think fast, work proactively and always keep on top of things even in a very dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Likes to collaborate and work with others
  • Experience in a consumer goods ecommerce/subscription business is preferred
  • Both DR customer acquisition and CRM experience is preferred, although candidates will be considered if only have experience in one
