The role...Head of Brand...
You will be part of the group marketing team and be responsible for building our brand across all
consumer touchpoints in retail and DTC (Direct to Consumer, i.e. our subscription and online shop) in
both the UK and US.

What you’ll be responsible for...

  • As the Head of Brand, you will lead our brand strategy and oversee the development and implementation of our new brand positioning across all consumer touchpoints both in retail and our DTC channels.
  • You will be responsible for our media strategy and brand activation approach, leading our social media, influencers & PR plans as well as the creation of content
  • Using both in-house and external/freelance resource, you will be brief and deliver communications that are impactful, consistent and relevant to consumers in the UK and US.
  • You will be a key business partner to several teams....
  1. You will be the marketing partner to the online commercial (e-commerce) team to create propositions, communications and content that will drive acquisition, cross-sell & repeat purchase and ultimately drive online lifetime value
  2. You will also work with the UK and US retail teams on delivering relevant campaigns assets (ATL and experiential)
  3. You will partner with our Head of Design to ensure that all creative and content is on brand as well as work through project resourcing
  • To ensure that all our comms have a business impact, you will also be responsible for evaluating ROI as well as tracking the development of key brand metrics
  • You will lead, motivate and develop a high performing brand team of 2 direct reports

What we are looking for in you...

  • Display solid brand development, digital marketing and content/comms development
  • Likely you'll have worked within an FMCG business ideally across different channels (retail / DTC). 
  • Global brand building through brand strategy, assets and campaign management
  • A track record in development of social media channels and content calendars
  • Have worked with creative agencies and in-house creative teams and providing high quality briefs and actionable feedback
  • Project management skills with an eye for detail and high standards of execution
  • Combine a balance of commercial results-delivery with creative and entrepreneurial flair, with proven success in maximising return from every touch-point
  • Natural collaborator, working well with different teams, clear communication and strong influencing skills including across locations / geographies to get stuff done
  • Proactive, passionate about tech, food and health, high energy and resilient, with a natural curiosity

What we will expect in first 6 months...

  • Create Brand positioning toolkit to guide all our brand activities
  • Social media strategy across all our channels and content plans in place
  • Develop a content plan and planning process to efficiently create multi-channel assets to deliver e-commerce acquisition and CRM objectives
  • Develop the media strategy and deliver the creative assets for our May campaign in the UK
  • Define and deliver an optimised brand tracking approach
  • Create effective planning and global content process with our in-house creative, UK and US based marketing team
